> Do people gatekeep pervious generations?
I've noticed mostly apathy and disinterest towards anything prior to G4. G3 is often dismissed as excessively girly and vapid, though I've never seen anyone trying to mount a serious defense of it either.
*Newborn Cuties* was universally ridiculed (no one really talks about it anymore), but that was ultimately a very small part of G3 and I doubt anyone over the age of 5 could find it enjoyable except in a so-bad-it's-good sort of way.
Surely I can't be the only one who developed an appreciation for pre-G4 stuff *because of* G4?
