apparently he was at least a good magician, namely the kind that kept an easy to look up reference of his favourites around, definitely your style too, doodles and all, he was quite fond of the metal eater spell apparently, also in the arsenal was the finger of volrak, which was seemingly the most accurate emperor palpatine impression in the world as well as the super bubble, which could stop any and all harm, once, great for taking a rocket to the face, not so helpful against more than one arrow at a time.

there was a hum in the air here too, as he enters what may as well be called a frankenstein movie set, with a metallic armor stuffed with gears laid on the operating table, curiously there were the corpses of mages around it, but it looked more like they had fought and no one walked away, a similar scene involving firearms was flickering into his sight on the other side.

Focusing as hard as he can on the Veil side, he steps toward the operating table. “…I really, really hope you’re a friendly robot.”

there were some research notes describing the effects of the folding and how it may breathe life into things, they had apparently called on some less than savory assistance in the form of demons in order to harvest what they called chromaton, aspects of a soul, but lacking direction they had fused these aspects into their own to foster a mind of their combined intellect, then disagreements began, mutual distrust had seen them take up their spellbooks against each other, and in the end here they were, what was to be their magnum opus laying unfinished as the chromaton, soul essence, was being gathered into it… wait the process was still going? metal man could get up at any moment, and with how it was brought to life was likely to be raging, distrustful and very much willing to murder.

Clambering up a stepladder beside the operating table, he quickly pans across the metallic frame for wherever the essence appears to collect into, or at least where the limbs joints appear exposed, then applies the metal-corroding spell.

the would be golem rusted through and fell to pieces, but the chromaton, paired with the energies was not finished and he found himself in the modern world, looking at a stainless steel machine that was also well armed, and booting up.

Stands there, witnessing the energy coalesce around the warbot, paralyzed in fear and unable to look away.

He slowly steps back toward the doorway, after the machine seemingly acknowledges his presence.

with that the machine knelt and shut down, may be a good idea to get going now.

Glances back for a second down the way he came, recounting the door, and outside, the perimeter wall.
 
Standing there for a while as the bot sits still, the shark’s mind races in this worldview for a way out, unable to think clearly enough back to the Veil, but then as enough time goes by quietly, he decides against fears to step back toward the machine.

He then exits the building with the robot in tow, heading back on open streets to the bar.

the machine follows after, soon arriving at the bar and grill the stag was running.
