“That’s the idea, though the passenger-space could be thought of as a command-cabin, er sumthin’… Fits with the design modus all 2nd Wave synthsectoids are going for now, anyways. The boss might also want these things working across the cliff-faces…”
 
“She says we’ve landed atop a plateau, so just imagine if, during a blizzard, someone were walking off from the landing zone, then suddenly just fell down, for about half a minute, if I read the altitude measurements right during the ship’s touchdown… Is Amy going to send you out there, to go exploring along the cliffsides?”

“I remember back during one of the few times my former employers allowed me to exist outside of simulspaces, I’d been sleeved into some kind of torpedo or swimmer-delivery-vehicle, then released to explore subcrustal seabeds on Europa.”
 
“I don’t think it’d compare quite much at all with flying, per se, but sinking for hours through pitch-darkness, until finally reaching faintly-glowing hydrothermal vents, was quite an experience… I bet if the flotation devices didn’t fire correctly, that instance of me would’ve been left trapped with all those kooky-looking shrimp and giant amoebas that were down there.”

Ginger, having been resting there along with a member of security who’d actually fallen asleep, is quite bewildered but certainly happy to get mail. “I haven’t been this excited to get deliveries since before I was a pup. These may not be milk bones but I’m glad they’re here nevertheless.”  
Each new device is stored within the armory, secured on a typical gun rack, perhaps with some gentle finagling of the rack’s grips. The room itself will be locked once more, notably by a mechanical lock.

The e-tablet chirrups unexpectedly: “Cais may soon orchestrate the bot workforce to construct an ample firing range for you and your compatriots, for safely firing weapons at targets propped off the side of the plateau we’re currently on, once things are in high-gear, of course.”

She’d jumped halfway out of her skin when the thing went off.  
After realizing things were fine, she replies calmly, “I’d really appreciate that- here I’d been planning to do it myself once we got situated in our surroundings. I didn’t bring much but I yield the supplies I brought for such a thing, should either of you have use for them either in that project or another.”

“Cais will incorporate your offer into a ballistics section of the firing range; the new directed energy weapons could play havoc on bullet detectors, you see. I apologize if I was the causation for you being startled, though. If will quell any concerns you may have, you may recycle me.”

“Hard pass; I can’t do much with a tablet like this, save for using its memory for hours of creativity unrelated to work. I appreciate it but it’d be a waste. As far as equipment goes, that should be…ho boy…” The mic picks up her rustling around to find her references, along with a quiet remark, ^{%“desks shouldn’t be designed like this if they shouldn’t hide liquor or milk bones…ooh, clipboard baby.”%}  
A quiet beep later and she replies clearly so as to be heard, “should be found at 007/013/018 in the storage portion of the hangar. Ought to be next to a bunch of ceramic plates, and across from…oh…some of my things.” She sighs, “I’ll be down in a bit for my handguns, at least. Grab whatever you need.”

“…back to business, though; I can read the haptic feedback while going about. Eventually, hardware deck’s manufactory will receive the blueprints and an inert copy of mobility-assist AI for the industrial-grade arachnikomas through e-mail; they’ll be the ones supplying the colonists’ or Amy’s demands for cataloged equipment. I suppose my list of immediate duties is all clear for now… I should go.”

“Ehm… I can’t quite sprout limbs from this device… But I can see if my primogenitor could be there, of course. I’d just have to unsleeve from here and remerge with him as a messenger…” The e-tablet chimes a log-off tone, leaving it as a perfectly usable electronic device. After a few seconds pass, it chirrupts again through a voice-chat function.
 
“…He’s just now finished an undisclosed project given by the administrator’s seneschal, and is headed to the hangar now.”

She’ll have gotten up by then. “So am I- albeit for my things.” She’ll grab a cart and head that way.

Work with Cais’ bots on carving up the entire plateau* we’re on, until the entire landmass is perfectly squared, reinforced, and leveled out, with infrastructure branching through it down to the base-foundation? she’d also bring up what amounts to a map, looking similar to a theme park so far, showing the biodomes for the imported plantlife, a sizable cafeteria dome, a set of hab-blocks that would be partially driven into the cliffside as well, offering great view while saving on room on the plateau and finally a sizable chunk reserved for engineering and workshops, as well as a security compound and parking.

he heard a sizable engine, belonging to an aircraft outside as a transporter landed at the foot of the pyramid, a few bots skittering up to lower down ladders, followed shortly by scientists and packer ant bots.

Waves the entopically-viewed diagram out of his view, then requests his cratebots, some worker drones, and Cais to arrive at the plateau edge prepared with electrokinetic-chutes. Assembled together, the entire group then dives off the cliffside, landing softly in concert upon a low foothill. Regathering once more, the group proceed to weave out thin squares of assembler/disassembler-film pinned like a patchwork-blanket across a stretch of flat area…
