Can we make it so there's a way to type a bold asterisk, followed by more bold text?

Example:

"

[
@OliverHancock":](/forums/dis/topics/count-to-1000?post_id=4652#post_4652
[bq="OliverHancock"]

*==]**The 214 has a 15,000 lb/t takeoff weight and the 214_ST_ derivative model has 17,000 lb/t.*[/bq]

It seems we have no way to make that first asterisk bold. Also, is there a way to make the "ST" in italicise "ST" while directly concatenateding it with "214"?
No reason given
