Just sayin', this was me tonight for over 5 hours in the sweltering heat, wearing NIJ level IIIA steel plate body armor in a cheap, function-over-comfort carrier, semi-concealed between 2 shirts.

I was also out there for 2 and a half hours of that time by myself, reminding everyone, police or not, that despite our bold and determined calls for change, we *_appreciate_* the majority of police who are just trying to do a tough job as well as they can.

I agree with certain aspects of the protests and disagree with others, and that's *_really_* not what this thread is about, so I won't bring that topic up at all again. I just wanted to show that most people, myself included, are not trying to make exuses to say drugs are good and police are bad.
