Also, don't be afraid to push the limits of what you think is possible now and then when it comes to prepping and saving money. Don't settle just because you saved more than the people around you or more than you used to. Think outside the box.


 
Case in point:
 
Gee, the healthcare system keeps charging me a lot of money to wait in a line for 2 hours and then pay for a prescription when I get strep throat and such, but hey, at least I take care of my fish really well so they're unlikely to get sick often in the first place, and ifwhen my fish _*do_* get sick, then I can treat _*their_* strep throat, boils, staph infection, etc. with a whole variety of legally obtainable "fish forms" of antibiotics.
