Wow this picture took me some time. I started it two days ago, painted the background almost entirely yesterday and did the rest today. I worked on a rather difficult type of paper which absorbs acrylic paints very fast and therefore made the beginning of painting very difficult and tedious.

I actually tended to detail every single leaf but in my opinion, artistical reducing sometimes ca make the most out of an idea. Not everything needs to be over-detailed to tell a story. It is fun but it can make a scene heavy.
That’s something I learned really fast when I stopped detailing some leaves ath the foreground. I think I would have needed two days more or so but that wasn’t my intension. XD

This chap is iding well, nearly becomes unseen in his forest world.
I finally wanted to pull myself out of this green addiction. Not every forest is entirely green. I’m just trying out some different colour schemes here. ^^

He already got framed and is ready for a journey.
I will take him along to Eurofurence where he will be trying to ogle you. ;)
