The basic cards (most of the time) either get thrown in a box deep in the closet, or sadly thrown away. I know, because I’m guilty of this too unless there is sentimental value. • • I’ve always thought that giving cards was a thoughtful way of showing appreciation and love. My great grandmother ALWAYS makes sure that all of her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, even her great-great grandkids have a card for their birthday. She also gives cards for special occasions. I have always admired her for not only remembering, but making sure that person felt loved and special on their day. • • The reason I started creating custom cards is because I wanted to offer a card that could be used and be kept forever. The card can be cut in half and used as a portrait! • • I will be printing out cards this weekend! Today or tomorrow is the last day to order to have a guaranteed card for Mother’s Day!
