While working on our own canon and handling IRL stuff, I got a new hyperfixation. Yeah, I know, super cliché, but after watching the Sonic movies, I unexpectedly got invested in this super-edgy tragic character. I also listened to various game plots in the background and realized how incredibly inconsistent Sonic’s canon is =:’з
Now, I’ve decided to rewatch Sonic X and play at least the games featuring Shadow. And a little secret - I used to draw “sonics” a long time ago, but those artifacts exist only in distant memories. So, I spent a few hours just figuring out the anatomy and adapting it to my style.
