she cannot leave the home because she is the home, lol. the Ghost, aka the Home itself, is basically just a little spectral blob without any character, personality, or distinct appearance. after Nail, aka the demiurge, decided to use the Home for her purposes as a sort of draft-world and a literal home, the Ghost started to take on more of Nail’s appearance as the “current mistress.” however, since the Ghost doesn’t have much power to maintain any particular form, half of her body is missing and is mostly transparent, ghostly, and fluid. the lack of eyes is probably due to the inability to reproduce the demiurge’s eyes or something like that. but the Ghost can see just fine - the walls of the home are her eyes.
she’s a bratty tsundere with an explosive personality. she loves doing everything her own way and gets ridiculously pissed if something doesn’t go according to her plan. a sadist at heart, she enjoys cruelty - partly because all the other beings in the home are under her control, and she has the power to save someone on the brink of death if she feels like it. overall, the Ghost is an imprint of all the negativity that was in Nail at the moment she became the “mistress” of the home. add to that the fact that Nail, as a demiurge, wasn’t particularly empathetic back in the day and acted like a curious child, playing with the beings she created without worrying about the fact that they were, you know, alive and didn’t particularly want to suffer.
since the home eventually emptied out, and all the creations found their own worlds and stories… the Ghost grew lonely. she now watches tv shows, feels nostalgic, and even misses the guests she used to… ahem, not greet so warmly. she’s cooled down and reined in her penchant for violence, though she’s still all for watching dramatic fictional deaths on screen. after all, she has no one to keep her company anymore.
by the way, she doesn’t need to eat. any food she consumes is immediately absorbed and converted into energy =:’’з
