Even the shining city has its dark alleys and corners. Sweeping the street gutters is far from glamorous work. It’s not all bad, though. Occasionally something worthwhile catches your eye among the muck.
A few empty promises, a vain hope of something better. Even if it ends in heartbreak, it must be worth it, right?
A night spent together. A lonely, tearful morning. Another day spent sweeping streets.
