Just a small ideas came to my mind.
The map shows how many images were tagged with each countries. Oversea territories like Greenland or French Guiana were count separately.

This is not about where users/artists from, it’s about how many uploaded artworks were tagged with each countries.
I think so too. Japan has only about half the posts while having 3 times the population. They also are both about the same average age (which means very old.)

Apparently, Ukraine topic art works were boomed in 2022 due to current events. Aslo I believe there’re many active Ukrainian furry artists as well.
