Weapon: Lapis’ weapon is a staff that works as a long distance Taser. From the base to the top of the ‘fin’, it is 170 cm. long, just taller than Lapis. It is made of a firm, but lightweight metal that makes it easy to swing around. The red orb on the end of the staff is the energy source of all of her attacks. Whenever Lapis needs to use a move, the attack’s energy begins from the orb and travels up to the tip of the ‘fin’ part where she can aim and fire at her target. (The only acception is Grass Knot. Instead of pointing the end of her staff at a target, Lapis taps the ground with it, causing grass/vines to grow rapidly. She uses this move to trip/slow her enemies.) Her weapon works well for long distance attacks, but Lapis struggles with hitting anything closer to her than about 15 feet.
Armor: Lapis’ armor is lightweight, black in color and it covers her entire body (Even underneath her dress). Her visor protects her eyes and the upper half of her face, but the rest of Lapis’ head is exposed. The glowing blue circles on Lapis’ armor are pieces of technology that allow her to levitate. Lapis only uses the yellow stripes as a flashlight. They can be turned off so that she doesn’t attract attention.

Daydreamer- When there’s nothing else to do, Emelia tends to let her mind wander. She thinks mainly about what she saw on the internet or what she’s going to eat later… Interrupting a daydream and gaining Emelia’s attention is not difficult. She never daydreams too deeply.
Pessimistic- She isn’t openly negative, but she prefers to be cautious in most situations… That means assuming for the worst.
Indecisive- Give Emelia plenty of time to make a decision because she will take a while. She debates with herself over what to do; sometimes about trivial things (Like whether she wants to drink apple juice or milk in the morning)
Proud- She has some pretty good self-esteem and is not easily insulted.
Subtle Sassy- If Emelia does not like something, she does not openly complain. She may slip in an ambiguous or difficult to interpret comment.
Sweet- For the most part, Emelia likes being with others and making them smile. Some may consider her clingy, but she’s just trying to be nice.
(Slightly) Dorky and Clumsy- Emelia may come as a dork when she starts to talk about the stuff she likes to look at on the computer… But that doesn’t really bother her. As far as she’s concerned, she loves that stuff and talking about it is fun. As for being clumsy, Emelia bumps into people when she’s not paying attention and drops stuff easily unless it’s in a bag.
Smart- Despite the air-headed image she may have, Emelia is pretty smart. She is capable of making very good decisions or plans when she is given enough preparation time.
Relaxed- Emelia likes to take things at her own pace, which is usually slow. She doesn’t get overexcited or rushed over small things. Even when in a critical situation, she stays relatively calm, much to Lapis’ annoyance.

Guardian:
Loyal- Lapis will do everything in her power to stay by Emelia’s side and defend her. Upsetting Emelia is a good way to make Lapis angry.
Tsundere- Cold to strangers, but caring to friends. Lapis does not like to open up to anyone until she is sure they are a good person. But once she is comfortable with someone, she treats them with kindness and respect.
Rash- Unlike Emelia, Lapis makes decisions very quickly. She usually acts before thinking, so most of the time her decisions are not the best.
Protective- It is Lapis’ duty to protect Emelia and she takes that job to heart. She will do anything to keep Emelia safe from harm. Lapis may also give cold glares or say empty threats to anyone who gets a little too close to her partner.
Complainer- Lapis complains about almost anything just to hear herself talk. Even though she often complains about work, she always gets the job done properly.
Glutton- Lapis eats a lot. She’s not picky either, so she’ll eat just about anything without a complaint.
Energetic- Unless she is asleep, Lapis is always ready to get up and do something fun or active. She can’t stand lazing around for long periods of time.
Easily Embarrassed- A compliment or two is enough to make Lapis blush. She also gets embarrassed over making silly mistakes. Her response to teasing is usually loud and flustered, which only embarrasses her more.
Stubborn- Getting Lapis to change her mind is difficult. Once she makes a decision, she sticks to it. Lapis doesn’t like to lose and sometimes you’ll have to tell her something more than once to make her listen (unless you’re someone of a higher rank, she follows those orders without question).

Biography:
Emelia was born and raised in Driftveil City. Her father was a cheerful merchant that often sold his goods at the city’s market and her mother was a calm individual that spent most of her time taking care of their home. Emelia received Jolty (Tynamo at the time) as a gift on her 12th birthday. She was overjoyed that she now had a Pokemon to call her own. This also meant that she was permitted to go outside the city’s boundaries.

During the summertime after Emelia received her partner Pokemon, her father allowed her to work as his delivery girl. She would deliver the merchandise that her father’s customers purchased, as long as they lived no further than Nimbasa or Mistralton City. By doing small jobs like this, Emelia managed to save up some pocket money. (Emelia was never really wise with her money though. Other than buying 2 TMs and a Thunderstone, everything else disappeared quickly.)

Emelia only began to think seriously about saving money when she graduated from high school. She had some money saved up, but it was nowhere near enough to pay for college. Emelia couldn’t come up with anything right away, so she decided to continue delivering merchandise until she could find a solution.

One day, Emelia was told to deliver a package to a resident of Mistralton City. This wasn’t a difficult task for Emelia. She had crossed through Chargestone Cave plenty of times, so reaching Mistralton wouldn’t be a problem for her. She was only about halfway through the cave when disaster struck. A sudden, but powerful earthquake caused several areas of Chargestone Cave to collapse and unfortunately, Emelia was unable to escape.

She was crushed and as quickly as darkness surrounded her, she was surrounded by white. What was this strange room? Who was this man clad in black? Form a contract? Even for Emelia this was an easy decision. Of course she chose life and as soon as the contract was made, Emelia found herself back in Chargestone Cave. She was trapped and afraid, but she was alive. But her Pokemon was not as lucky. Jolty’s soul had been compressed into the form of a small, glowing Soul Crystal.

“Help…” Emelia whispered into the darkness. For a few moments, the new Summoner’s voice echoed emptily off of the cave’s walls. She was ready to give into the creeping terror and cry, but her call for help was answered by her Guardian. Lapis lit up the cavern and Emelia’s fears disappeared when she realized that this person was here to protect her, just like Jolty had. With Lapis’ help, Emelia exited Chargestone Cave unharmed. She completed her delivery and returned home. Nobody knew of her death and rebirth.

When Emelia received the e-mail explaining everything and inviting her to join the Crisis Legion, she smiled and accepted right away. Convincing her parents that she had been invited to tour the Arcanus Institutional Facility, Emelia left to join the Crisis Legion.
