Jurassic Aftermath (Halloween): Horror In Alaska

Description
Whilst in preparation for the big aftermath story compilation results, I had decided to make little “bonus” side contests, in which I’d make a possible aftermath scenario in the form of an image, then I would ask you to make stories about the depicted image. Since then we had made this into a recurring game on this “channel” which I enjoy for seeing what creative results it gets from people…
About roughy two weeks ago, we did a fifthteeth round of this, in which we did a small scenario based in the frozen tundra forests of alaska…
The main element i was looking for here (given it was a halloween special) was a theme relating to horror…
and after a while, the results are now in…
In total, there were FIVE entires made by various people…
and here they are…
IN FIRST PLACE (i think you’ll really like this one ;) )
by thatdrawinguy
It was a dark, windy October night in wilds of Alaska. Thick freezing snow a foot and a half deep covered the seemingly empty terrain as a full moon shone an ominous white light down through the clouds. Two men, James and Ford, slowly marched through the near pitch black landscape in search of food. In recent weeks, food has been awfully scarce. The number of Deer and Moose has suddenly gone down leaving these two men with no choice but to hunt, even in the dead of night. Each armed with with a Winchester XPR and a hand full of rounds, the two hunters continue on into the wilderness following a trail of Moose tracks.
James stops for a moment and looks back the their snow mobiles in the distance. He grabs two bullets from a coat pocket and begins loading his weapon. Meanwhile, Ford looks off ahead into a dense cluster of naked trees in front of them. “ Tracks continue off into that patch of forest ahead. If we move quickly, we might be able to catch em.” Ford suggests. James finishes loading his rifle and marches towards his fellow hunter. “ Well, let’s get on with it. I’m freezing.” James replied.
They kept their eyes on the tracks and continued towards the trees. James held his rifle to his chest just in case. James couldn’t tell why but something about this area felt off. It felt too quiet even for midnight out there. By now, typically there would be an owl calling out in the distance, a small rodent of sorts scurrying through the snow. But during the duration of their journey since they had left their front doors James had seen nothing, heard nothing. James and Ford had about 20 yards to go until they would enter the trees until Ford suddenly stopped.
Ford lifted his right hand up to signal James and got down to his knees. James stopped and watched his neighbour. “ James, shine your flashlight right here.” Ford instructed and pointed towards a certain spot on the snow by the side of the tracks. James nodded and reached into another coat pocket and pulled out a small flashlight. He turned on the device and aimed its light towards Fords index finger. The light lit up the snow and revealed chunks of brown fur scattered across the ground, accompanied by large patches of blood.
“ Oh shit,” James whispered as he scanned the light across the scene. The mixture of blood and fur is thrown on both sides of the Moose tracks. Despite this, James can’t see any tracks other then the single Moose. “ Well what the hell?!” Ford suddenly cried out. “ I don’t get it. There’s no other tracks. With the hunks of fur all over the place something had to be tearing this thing up. No way it was shot.” James explained. “ Where do the tracks lead?” Ford asked. James slowly tilted his wrist upwards which lifted the light in the same direction the Moose was heading.
Only a couple feet ahead the tracks began to appear everywhere and facing all directions, the ground littered with more fur and blood. “ Looks like he was dancing around…trying to get something off maybe.” James continued. “ So where the hell is it? It can’t just vanish into thin air.” Ford protested. James looked, shook his head and shrugged. “ Dammit! That the third time this week!” Ford shouted as he threw his own winter hat to the ground in a fit of anger. James walked over and placed a single hand on Fords shoulder.
“Look brother, it’s dark, it’s cold, it’s late and it doesn’t seem like there is anything here. Maybe we should call it quits and try again some time tomorrow.” James suggested. Ford bent over and picked up his winter, brushed it clean of snow and placed it back on his head. “ I was really hoping this time we’d catch something.” Ford said mournfully. The two men were in the process of turning around when suddenly the distinct sound of a Moose bellowing in the distance entered their ears. Both men quickly stopped and turned around to face the direction of the sound.
It was coming from somewhere within the cluster of trees in front of them. James looked at Ford and even in the darkness he could see his face light up and smile. “ It’s over there! Still alive! We can still catch it, James!” Ford quietly cried out. James sat and stared into the trees, his eyes narrowed. “ I don’t get it. There’s no tracks leading in that direction.” James stated, puzzled. Ford quickly pushed his way through the snow and charged in the direction of the crying animal. James quickly reached out and tried to grab his hunting partner by the shoulder.
“Wait Ford, what if there are wolves? The tracks could have been covered under during a struggle. It would be suicide to not do this carefully.” James warned. “ Which I shall. We’ll stay back in the trees, check the area first and if there is nothing there, we move in.” Ford replied. James stopped and looked down as he thought to himself. Without a shadow of a doubt something was off about this situation. But in the same right, this may be the only chance he and Ford get a for another while to catch anything else.
James lifted his head back up and nodded. “ Alright, but please be on guard.” James answered. Fords smiled before he made his way off into the trees. James shook his head, lifted his rifle to his chest and quietly followed. The two men quietly weaved and twisted their bodies between the trees as the approached the unseen Moose. It’s cries were long and laboured but slowly seemed to be getting louder. They were closing in. Both Ford and James readied their weapons and took aim. Ford stopped and lifted up his right arm, pointing his fist to the sky.
James held his breathe as Ford proceeded to slowly stick his rifle and his head forwards. James saw his hunting partner turn his head from left to right before looking back at James. “ Looks clear to me…but you gotta see this.” Ford whispered. Ford stepped forward and James eagerly followed to see what Ford was talking about. Ford led him into a small open patch of almost undisturbed snow. Directly in the centre of the spot was a large adult male Moose laying on his side bellowing out loud.
The massive animal was covered in massive bite, claw and puncture wounds all over the top of its body save of one deep slice wound which cut across the underside of the animals belly. Even in the darkness, James could see the amount of blood running out of the animals body and into the snow. “ Jesus,” James whispered quietly to himself as he looked upon the wounded Moose. The giant Moose slowly turned his head in the direction of the two men and stared at them quickly, ceasing all noise he made before. James looked back with pity on the injured Moose and lifted his rifle to his face. He then aimed at the animals head and pulled the trigger, the loud gunshot echoed around the landscape signifying the end of the Moose’s suffering.
There was a moment of silence between the two men as James lowered his rifle. Ford suddenly leaned forwards and began to examine the torn up Moose. “ You know, I have been out here for almost as long as you and I don’t think I have seen anything like this. What the hell could do this and leave em like this?” Ford asked. “ I don’t know. I look at the teeth and claw wounds.” James whispered while pointing at the animal.
“Those ain’t from any animal I seen out here and I’ve seen a lot. Could it have been a Rake, Bigfoot, El Chupacabra?” Ford suggested which earned a chuckle from James. Ford began to continue, “ Around here, best guess is Bigfoot. It’s too dang cold for the Rake since he’s butt naked and-” There was a suddenly loud, sharp exhaling sound that clawed at the men’s ears as if it was forcing them to hear it. Both hunters quickly shot their heads up and looked around, gripping their guns tightly in their hands.
“James, what the hell was that?” Ford asked loudly. “ I don’t know. But let’s grab the meat and get the hell outta here.” James answered while looked between the trees. As Ford pulled out his hunting knife and began cutting at the Moose, James couldn’t help but feel as though they were being hunted. Ford suddenly but slowly began to stop cutting the Moose with his knife and quickly made a waving gesture with his hand towards himself. “ James!” Ford whispered. James turned around and looked at Ford. Ford had his other hand now pointed towards the large slice wound traveling across the Moose’s underbelly.
There was three distinctive spots where it appeared the Moose’s stomach was pulsing in an up and down motion. “ That! Right there, what the hell is that?!” Ford cried. James didn’t response immediately. Instead he stared at the freakish imaginary before him. “ Cut it,” James finally said nervously. Ford quickly looked at James with a stunned expression. He kept his glare of a moment before turning back towards the Moose and gently dragged his blade across the pulsating flesh. Ford removed his blade and both men leaned over to peak inside.
To their surprise, there was a large burrowed out hole in the flesh of the animal leading to what should be the Moose’s intestines. There looked to be several large patches of black fur inside of the Moose’s innards, each being around a inch or two from each other. James gets up and takes a step back out, completely disgusted by what he’s seeing. Ford looks over the hole, points his index finger and comes up with one of the worse ideas James had ever seen. Ford slowly lowered his inside of the wound and began poking the several balls of fluff.
“Ford, get your damn finger outta there!” James whispered while cringing. Just what in the world could possess anyone to do such a thing. The small ball of fluff suddenly twitched to Fords touch which caused him to quickly remove his finger in a panic. The two men watched in disgust as the small ball turned around until two small beady eyes attached to a long reptilian snout started back at them. Slowly, the rest of these balls of ‘fluff’ did the same until several pairs of eyes stared at the men, still and unblinking.
Both men stood silently, their blood running cold, hearts racing, sweat running down their heads despite the cold. The Moose was stuffed with Dinosaurs. James heard about them escaping across the United States but how was it possible for them to even get this far out? What really troubled James was by the looks of it, these small creatures packed inside of this Moose looked more like Owl chicks with tails and teeth, young and covered in downy feathers, hatchlings. Something would have had to have given birth to them and by the looks of it it didn’t look like anything they would want to meet.
“Ford…I think we should go.” James suggested. Ford didn’t say a word but quickly nodded his head in response. James took a single step back and almost immediately as his foot flattened the snow under it a slow, hollow trill echoed from the trees behind them. James could feel his whole body lock up keeping him in place. But the irresistible urge to look behind himself was compelling. Both men forced their necks to turn to look behind only to them have wished they didn’t. James could make out at least five large bird like animals perched in the trees.
Just like the offspring, the creatures were as still as the trees they sat in and staring right through the men. They were roughly twenty feet away and about twelve feet off the ground. James heart beat so loud it was drowning out his own thoughts. “ L…let’s just leave…slowly.” James whispered with a tremble in his voice. Ford didn’t respond and grabbed a hold of his gun, aiming it the Dinosaurs. One of the large beasts quickly climbed down the trees it was on and faced the two men, arms extends and hissing loudly.
James grabbed onto Fords arm and slowly began to pull him backwards back towards the direction they came. The rifle in Fords hands shook uncontrollably as the grounded Raptor slowly took a step forward to follow their retreat. The black feathers stood on end of the approaching Dinosaur as it once again let out a loud hiss in their direction. Ford began hyperventilating then suddenly pulled the trigger to his rifle. The gunshot escaped his rifle and attacked the ears of everyone nearby as the grounded Raptor slowly fell dead into the snow around them. There was complete silence.
Neither man nor raptor made a sound as both parties stared at the fallen Dinosaur. In unison, the group of beasts shrieked out and quickly clawed through the trees in the direction of the men. “ RUN!” James screamed and the two men charged through the trees. Branches snapped and fell about them, horrid raspy breathes snarled from seemingly all directions as the Raptors approached. James pushed through the snow as hard as he could, keeping one hand in front of himself to push away any incoming tree branches. He couldn’t see any of the creatures but he could feel them, their presence drawing nearer.
James held on tightly to Ford as he pushed away a final set of branches. There was a loud inhuman scream from behind them and Fords body was suddenly forced downward out of James grasp. James stopped and turned around to see one of the animals pounced onto Fords back, massive hook shaped claws on the creatures feet cutting deep into his sides as serrated teeth bit through the back of his neck. “ Ford!” James screamed and aimed his rifle. Two more of the man sized animals jumped down from the trees above and covered Fords body with theirs, occasionally lifting their heads to reveal blood covered snouts. Several more of the raptors began to exit the trees. James lowered his weapon and quickly continued running towards the snow mobiles. He continued through the thick snow, panting loudly. James lifted his head to look in front of him and almost completely stopped running. Instead of the two snow mobiles the men arrived in, there was a large Snowcat, three men standing around it and snow mobiles no where to be seen. He couldn’t hear the creature following him anymore. He turned his sprint into a slow jog and approached the people.
“Hey! Hey! Help!” James cried. All three men stopped what they were doing and looking his his direction. James ran up to the group and stopped in front of them, gasping for breathe. All three of the men were white and wore a similar if not nearly the same attire, large, thick black coats and snow pants. “ Please, you have to help! My friend…We were attacked by these…things!” James explained. One of the men lifted their arms and motioned their hands towards James. “ Sir, I’m going to ask you to calm down and catch your breathe and tell me your name.” The man instructed.
James nods and starts breathing through his nose. “ My name is James Alexander. I live a bit West from here.” He explained. The second man begins to make his way to the third who is simply standing and watching the situation unfold. “ Mr. Dodgson, How is the program supposed to continue if one of the subjects isn’t…” the man stopped and waited for this Dodgson guy to respond. James turned and walked around the backside of the Snowcat to look for his snow mobiles.
James stopped and looked ahead. Just behind the Snowcat, he could see both his and Fords snow mobiles crushed, battered and left half buried into the snow. “ H-Hey, the hell did you do?!” James cried as he looked upon his destroyed vehicles. “ Mr. Alexander, I am Lewis Dodgson, head of research at Biosyn. I would personally like to thank you for your ‘ assistance’ for this operation. Although, your part in this is not complete. We still need to see the Troodon hunt in a open environment from a safe distance of course.” Lewis explained. Almost instantly the three men turned around and walked back towards their Snowcat, leaving James.
“Hey! Wait a second. The hell are you talking about?!” James called out to them. He quickly power walked towards Lewis and extended his arm out to his shoulder. Just as he did one of the men turned and delivered a quick punch to James stomach. James unable to react, coughed and stepped backwards, grabbing his stomach. The man continued his attack by violently grabbing James by the head and punching him again in the bottom jaw. James flew back from the force and rolled in the snow. The same man quickly approached James and stopped over him.
He then bent down and seized his rifle from him. James jaw felt numb, he felt as if he couldn’t speak. James lifted his right arm towards his attacker and reached out to grab his sleeve. The man simply turned his arm away from James reach and gave him a powerful kick to the side of his head. The mans boot felt like a brick as it connected with James ear. James could hear a loud bell ringing inside of his head as he rolled from side to side in pain. Through his blurred vision, he could see the man slowly walk away from him and join the other men.
A few moments later, he could hear their Snowcats engine cough and roar as the vehicle slowly drove away. James lay their moaning in pain as the sounds of the Snowcat slowly disappeared. After about a minute. He put his hands underneath him and pushed himself up to his feet. “ Wait…” whispered. He looked around to see that he was in pitch black, alone. “ Wait,” James said again as he scanned around for the Snowcat. The sharp exhaling sound suddenly echoed around the open landscape.
In the distance behind him, the same sounds repeated themselves in response. “ Wait!” James cried out. James turned around to see the same group of the Raptors running in his direction making the same sharp sounds as the charged. James screamed and used what little strength to run across the snow. “ WAIT!” James screamed, the Troodons footsteps getting faster and closer. As he ran he wondered, was it really worth running away from these things. Was he just delaying the inevitable? “ WAI-” James scream was cut off by one of the animals colliding into his back with their full body weight.
James yelped as hooked claws and razor teeth pierced and pulled apart his flesh. He kicked, he punched, he screamed all to no avail. The more he moved, the more of him he seemed to lose. As the animals began thrashing his body from side to side, he slowly felt above all things tired, dizzy. James could no longer feel the pain, the need to move.
He gently rested his head down in the snow and closed his eyes.

Alaska, 4 PM, 30 kilometres away from Fairbanks
Two hunters have decided to go on a hunting trip, wishing to take down a caribou or a bull moose. The weather is harsh, in the past few days it has been frequently tormented by snowstorms, but today, it has calmed down just enough for the duo to dare go outside and attempt to hunt.
“Hey uncle”, says one of them, “Thanks for bringing me on one of your hunting trips! But are you sure this was the right day for one?”-he asks. “No probs, kiddo! You couldn’t imagine a better day, you will see!” “Uh, it’s a bit cold out here, but if you say so”-says the nephew, and they continue to advance through the forest.
-“This place looks dead. No animals, no birds, not even a goddamn squirrel. Notice how quiet everything is? Are you sure we are even on the right path?”
-“Boy, I know this place more than my own wife, it’s impossible we get lost here. Now pick up that rifle, we’re gonna have some fresh moose ribs for dinner, just wait for it!”
3 hours have passed, and they still haven’t found anything. It has already gotten dark, and the nephew has continously gotten more and more nervous. Now even his uncle was unsure if they were following the right game trail, and their new and only goal was not to freeze to death in this cold and dark forest.
“Uncle, look!” They suddenly stumble upon the roof of a concrete structure partially buried underground. “Looks like some kinda bunker. Did you know anything about this, has this thing always been here?”
“I have no idea son, I have never seen anything like this here before. Maybe we should take a peek inside, this snowstorm is getting nasty.” They entered the abandoned building. It was dark, but thanks to their headlights, they could navigate inside. “What even is this place?” they asked, as they walked past ruined lab equipments, egg shells, scattered firearms, and torn pieces of clothing. The odor of this place was also quite peculiar. It smelled like a dirty bird cage and a slaughterhouse at the same time. They noticed strange feathers lying around the floor. -“Uncle, what kind of bird is this?”
-“I dunno boy, looks like a big-ass owl, but I honestly don’t know. This entire place is just…wrong.”
They come across a door and decide to open it. They find a hallway filled with frozen, partially devoured carcasses, both humans and local wildlife, such as deers and bearcubs. Some human corpses still had the same terrified, painful expression from the moments of their death frozen on their face. The same bizarre feathers they saw earlier littered the floor, with pieces of guano and dried blood decorating the floor. “What the fuck…what the actual fuck?!,” they kept murmuring. “Get the fuck outta here, this place fucking cursed!” They started rushing towards the entry of the complex, while feeling constantly watched. When they finally reached the surface, they felt a little bit less terrified, but they were still lost in a blizzard,in the woods, next to the den of someone (or something) that stockpiles half-eaten corpses. “What the fuck is this place?!” “I dunno, perhaps the lair of some serial killer, we were lucky he was not here. Once we reach the car, we will call the cops. Now let’s move, he could come back any minute.” “Hol’up, we still have our guns, we can blast the asshole if he tries to fuck with us!” With this realization, they felt a bit safer, but the cold and the dark sure didn’t let them become too overconfident. Suddenly, a raspy voice hit their ears. “Heeeelp meeee”, the voice screamed. “Somebody, heeeelp!”
-“Who’s there?”-they responded. “Do you think it’s one of the escaped victims?” “Could be, but also might be a trap. Be careful.” They grabbed their rifles and decided to investigate. After all, if it was actually a victim, they cannot just leave him alone with that psycho lurking around in the woods. As they moved closer, they could hear that there was something off about that voice. It just didn’t sound right. As if it was coming from an old recoring, it was raspy, cracked and sounded like it was not entirely…human. When they got to the original location of the unknown voice, they didn’t find anyone. Instead, there were a bunch of strange footprints in the snow, and once again a strange feather hanging from one of the bushes. “What even is this anymore?!”, they asked. “I’m scared and tired, I just want to go home!” said the nephew, as he could no longer tolerate the bizarre events of the last 4 hours. Once again the cold feeling of being watched descended upon their heads, the cruel sensation of being the prey instead of the predator. Pointing their headlights and flashlights around, they didn’t see a soul peeking thru the darkness of the forest. Something soft fell on the nose of the nephew. It was a small feather. When they looked up to the trees, then they could see it. A horrifying and dreadful sight. About a dozen eyes reflecting the lights of the flashlights from above, in various shades of yellow and white. The creatures in the canopy looked like overgrown owls with their giant bulbous eyes and messy feathered coat.
It was a sight out of a horror movie. The men’s hearts sank, their thoughts and heartbeats engaging in such a fast and chaotic race like never before, while their bodies were frozen in terror. Even if they managed to shoot some of them, there were simply too many of them (now several more eyes began glowing beyond the bushes and the trees on the ground, too), and they would inevitably get them before they could reload. Their only hope was that gunshots may scare them away. When one of the creatures let out a deep, raspy chirp, they began dropping from the trees and the 2 men immediately started running for their lives. The sudden rush of adrenaline gave them a significant boost, but the beasts were simply too fast and maneuverable in the woods. After all, it was their domain for who knows how long. They continued running, even with their pursuers seemingly out of sight. Perhaps they have given up already, they thought, but they kept rushing towards the edge of the forest where they parked their car, to leave this nightmare behind once and for all. Suddenly the uncle let out a loud, painful cry, as he fell over a log buried under the snow, seemingly sustaining serious injuries on his arm and left leg. While his nephew became distracted to help him, then came another horrific realization: they were cornered.
Several specimens of the bizarre bird-like creatures began walking towards them. The attackers never left, they simply took shortcuts. They weren’t charging at them like rabid dogs, they were calmly and confidently walking towards them, in an almost casual manner, as if they were simply approaching some feeder machine, which was somehow even scarier. “Run, save yourself!”-shouted the older man, but his nephew refused to give up on him. He picked up a rifle and fired a warning shot. It somehow startled the creatures, but they continued to close up on them. He shot again, this time aiming at one of the creatures, but in his panicked state he missed and hit a tree instead. The third shot came quickly and hit one of the animals, which collapsed on the ground. 3 of the most malnourished, mangy looking specimens immediately started to feast in a wild frenzy over their fallen packmate, while the others became somewhat fazed and confused. Taking advantage of this situation, he shot another specimen, this time only injuring it but not killing it. This was enough to fend off the remaining creatures, as the injured specimen let out a pained hiss that seemingly commanded its packmates to retreat. The 2 men eventually reached the edge of the forest, and the nephew immediately took his uncle to the nearest hospital.
At the same time he informed the authorities about what they saw in that forest, but they didn’t seem very convinced. Ever since the incident a few years ago, the amount of such stories skyrocketed, with many of them eventually turning out to be hoaxes fabricated to get the author the deserved 15 minutes of fame, or simply made for jokes and campfire horror stories. A small team of officers were dispatched the next day just to make sure if the men were indeed saying the truth or just faking it, they honestly didn’t really want to bother with this case. The idea of giant murderous “birds” and an abandoned bunker laboratory in the middle of the forest sounded like one of those typical fake cryptid creepypastas that flood the internet from time to time. Nobody has returned from that operation.
No bodies were ever recovered. The horrible events and eerie secrets of that forest were buried under the snow once more.

In the wilderness of Alaska, two hunters are walking along in the night, looking for some game to hunt. One of them, named Herman Sharks, was leading ahead with an hunting rifle. The other, named Agnarr, carrying a revolver and a spray.
Herman looked back, and gave a small grin on seeing his friend struggling a bit.
“Having fun, back there?” he asked. Agnarr scoffed.
“Sort of. This place is chilly!” he said as he shivered slightly. Herman laughed.
“Welcome to Alaska.” he said. Agnarr just shook his head.
Eventually, they arrived in a small clearing. There was nothing much of note in the area, save for a carcass of a moose. Herman and Agnarr looked at the carcass and grew alarmed by this.
“Woah.” Agnarr said as they began to walk towards it. However, Herman reminded,
“Careful Agnarr. Whoever, or whatever, did this could still be nearby.”
Agnarr nodded in understanding before they arrived at the carcass. Herman inspected it, and hummed to himself.
“Hmm…scratch marks are a few inches deep. And they’re pretty small too, so I don’t think a bear might have done this.” he said as Agnarr inspected it himself. He then noticed several footprints nearby, and raised his brows.
“Herman…there shouldn’t be any flightless birds here, aren’t they?” he asked. Herman looked at him, and then at the direction he was looking at. That was when he grew concerned.
“No. They don’t look much like a hawk. It looks to be something like a crow or a chicken.” he said.
“You think it could be one of those dinosaurs? I heard Biosyn and Mantah-Corp are releasing these things into the wild. Why, I dunno.” Agnarr explained. Herman shook his head.
“I don’t think so. This place is too cold for them. Then again, what do I know about dinos?” he asked as he looked at the carcass and footprints.
Suddenly, they heard rustling from the trees. Herman and Agnarr looked up in alarm.
“Get up, man. And get yourself ready!” Herman ordered. Agnarr did so, and they aimed their rifles at the bushes. All they could see were a group of bright eyes staring at them in the darkness. Agnarr got his flashlight out and pointed it at them, and the eyes soon disappeared, scurrying into the bushes.
Herman and Agnarr remained on guard, looking around in case more of them decided to attack. All of them were tensed up, not knowing what is about to happen…
Suddenly, Agnarr found himself pushed from the back by something. He shouted as something bit into the coat of his shoulder. Herman gasped and turned to see a troodonid dinosaur biting down, sinking its claws through the jacket and into the flesh. Immediately, he kicked the creature off, and shot his rifle towards it. The gun missed, but it was enough to scare the creature off. Herman then pulled Agnarr up as they heard more scurrying sounds as possibly more of these creatures were fleeing, being scared off by the sound of the rifle.
“Hey, hey Agnarr! You alright?!” he asked as he lifted him up. Agnarr gritted his teeth as he gripped the sides of his belly.
“Other than the cuts on my stomach, I think I’m fine. Thanks, Herman. It would’ve been a lot worse if you weren’t here.” he said. Herman nodded before they looked around.
“Dinosaurs? All the way up here?! We’ve gotta report this! Can you walk?!” he asked. Agnarr nodded.
“I can run too.” he stated. Herman nodded before he pushed his friend ahead.
“Go! Don’t look back!” he ordered. The two ran away, leaving the body of the moose behind. The clearing was quiet for a while, before the Troodonids soon returned, staring at the direction the two had ran to…

CNN News:
William Nye: Evening everyone, I’m William Nye bringing you the latest information from across the world. In Todays news, we are going to resume reporting on the dinosaur epidemic. So far, several cases have been made about the uprising of the dinosaur population. Some are however contained by the government despite the viral outbreak that came on 2020. But, it seems other cases have been unable to make progress.
(The news then shows a map of Alaska and a video of cars driving away from a town.)
William Nye: On 1st November 2020, a massive evacuation has occurred at a village in Alaska. As you can see at this video, hundreds of cars and trucks are filled with families, attempting to leave what was once their home. Aiding them are a small military force assigned to ensure the safety of these people. This act is in response to a discovery that was made a week ago.
(A new video was opened, showing a man looking half-crazed and talking to police.)
William Nye: According to this man, he and his comrade were out in the cold forests, hunting game. But instead of deer or bear, they uncovered the ruins of an abandoned laboratory. However their short-time of awe on their discovery was cut short when they were attacked by what the man described as “Black Demons”.
(Next picture was the description of the “Black Demon”. It looks bird like based on its shape and the feathers covering it. However, there are claws and teeth and the creature’s eyes are wide big than any animal could have. Plus, it’s half a man’s size).
William Nye: As you can see from this picture, this is what the creature looked like based on what the man has described. He also managed to take a sample of the creature’s voice through his phone. To viewers out there, if you have any children, be warned that what you are about to hear might be disturbing.
Willian Nye: Although the man has escaped, his friend was not that fortunate. He reported his tale to the local authorities. So far, rescue teams are still out, trying to find him but results have been fruitless. Another team was sent out to the laboratory and find out anymore on those who might be responsible in unleashing this epidemic.
Currently, they are not obliged yet to discuss this.
Well we are near our commercial break but stay tune as we interview with Claire Dearing and the Dinosaur Protection Group.
