First Appearance: SegaSonic the Hedgehog (Arcade 1993)

A lesser known friend of Sonic, who, alongside Mighty the Armadillo, was once imprisoned by Dr. Eggman on a trap-laden island. Friendly, eager and energetic, he makes up for his lack of strength with sheer excitement and enthusiasm, though he tends to distract easily. Ray loves to travel, and with the wing-like membranes under his arms, he can glide up to high places to get a view of the land around him. Ray and Mighty have since become good buddies not unlike how Sonic and Tails are. Both were out of action for a long time, but eventually made a comeback in Sonic Mania Plus.
