This a sketch of an aborted comic based on Ernest and Celestine - an alternate reality take on its ending
The premise is Ernest has earned his grant to adopt Celestine as his daughter (like in the film) however the Mice won’t let their prejudice against the Bears go (as noted in the companion series “Ernest and Celestine: The Collection”) so they decided to shrink Ernest to their size to prevent Ernest from hypothetically eating them
