This isn’t exactly what I would call an entirely realistic pokemon; however, it is done in a somewhat realistic style (at least, far more than the normal anime style).

I’m not sure why I chose chikorita - probably because it was one of the first pokemon that came to my mind. I tried coloring it in a different way than I normally do - this time, I colored using the airbrush on “dissolve” and then blurred whatever I had colored - but it didn’t come out quite like I thought it would (it’s still not too bad, though).

The flowers it’s holding are supposed to be chicory flowers.
