Here is one of ten commissions for my last commissioner stormnobleheart. Thank you so Much for for generosity, exploring your character and his various forms was a blast! :)

I had finally gotten around to messing with the new camera I bought last year. >.< And I am very impressed with the amount of detail I was able to capture with it! Now I just need to figure out how to properly light my works. This was taken outside on a clear day in direct sunlight, strangely the paper color was not captured correctly, its actually sepia colored… I don’t know if it was something wrong with the camera settings, lighting, or what, for now it’ll have to remain a mystery until I get around to more experimenting.

I’m just happy that I could at least share the detail and strength of my colored works lines for once. They are usually lost when scanned because of light reflecting off the lead… One of these days I’ll figure out a way to share my colored works properly. >.<’

A last thing of note, I tried out a new feather texturing technique with this piece as well. Approached them as if they were “Furry Scales”, not much less complicated or time consuming as my old feather technique, but does give off a much better result in my opinion!
