Description
Four times I have already drawn Janice. But I have never drawn her having been born until now.
It was February 25, 1966. Christmas had come and gone two months earlier, but the elves were getting ready for next Christmas. Meanwhile, Clarice and Rudolph were getting ready for the arrival of their child.
On that day at eight in the morning, Clarice was talking with her friends about parenthood. Suddenly, she felt a kick and felt that she couldn’t stand properly. Immediately, she knew her child was coming. Fortunately, Rudolph was right in the area participating in reindeer games as this was happening. He quickly dropped what he was doing and helped Clarice over to the nearest cave. Fortunately, he had the strength of twelve reindeer to carry his wife to the nearest cave.
Faster than you could say “hippopotamus”, Rudolph got Clarice to a cave. Several hours of labor passed, and their child was finally born. Rudolph and Clarice were so happy, they started crying. “Claire,” Rudolph said, “we’ve made ourselves a beautiful child. I know people say that all the time, but it’s true.” “And look,” said Clarice. “Our child has your nose.”
Santa was out for a morning walk as this was taking place. And not too long after their child was born, he felt the need to visit. “Have you thought about what you’ll name your child?”, he asked. “I’ve been thinking,” said Rudolph, who’s tears were starting to dry, “If it’s a boy, we’ll name him Robert.” Clarice said “But if it’s a girl, we’ll name her after my grandmother Janice.” “Well,” said Santa, “whatever the name, I’m sure they’ll make a great sleigh team member.”
Sure enough, they found out that their child was a female, so they named her Janice.
