Description
After many, many terrible jobs, in 2019 I tried to go into business for myself as a medical courier. I liked the driving but it ended up being a big mistake. The human body just isn’t meant to be behind the wheel for that much time, and the companies I worked for cheated me all the way into near bankruptcy. But there was a strange comforting eeriness to coming back at two or three in the morning, on rural roads all by yourself, in a beat-ass Volvo that’s almost as old as you are.
