This is the same Sally as this picture here but with some changes. Many months ago when Sonic Frontiers was teased, I started writing fanfiction in my head about this being the game where Sega decides to recognize non game characters. I know that will never happen and to be honest I’m perfectly fine with that, but still, I think playing as Sally or Bunnie etc, would be fun.

Since everyone was comparing Frontiers to BotW I thought Sally could be a princess type like Zelda…only maybe 100% more involved in what is going on. I based her outfit off of Princess Knight, the Tezuka character. Then I played around with some things. This character is technically meant to be an expy of Sally, I’m wanting to call her Erica. Sally was loosely based off of Ricky, the small squirrel animal Sonic saves. So I googled what the “girl version” of Ricky is and Erica was one of the top recommended ones.

Her main weapon would be a sword. Likely a rapier/some kind of pokey sword. It would double as a wand and she can manipulate wind and water with it. She also has a really mean bite. There is Nicole, her near constant compact companion to help her out with puzzles and hacking, like in Archie she has a holo form that I will draw eventually.

Sally/Erica would be the ruler of her island. (Imagine the first island but it is almost entirely forest, with trees reaching high as mountains) She is trying to find the fractured pieces of the phantom ruby that crashed onto the Starfall Islands a hundred years ago. (time flow is different on the islands compared to the normal world) Her mission, along with the leaders of the other islands, is to find the pieces before the evil wizard Ixis Naugus who of course wants the ruby to do evil stuff with them. He already has one of the pieces and is holding one of the islands hostage with his power. If Sally and the others don’t deliver the pieces to Naugus, he will cause the stars to fall and curse the hostage islands to sink into the ocean.
