While Kylee would dream about this moment continuing any other way, such as with Annie following this up with a passionate kiss, or with Kylee actually being able to confess her feelings, she knew that Annie hadn’t meant this the way Kylee’s desperately crushing heart hoped, but instead the same as ‘loving’ ice cream. And in those dreams of it ending any other way, her imagination would certainly edit out the following events, where she made some fumbling sounds before tripping backwards over some stage equipment and making a terrible crashing mess.
