Since my art lull is still in full effect, here’s some artwork I did back in 2000 when season 02 of Digimon was still on TV. Sigh, strip away the prons and at the core I’m still a hopeless romantic. =3
 
Veemon had a crush on Gatomon on the show (or at least in one episode. ^_ ) and I thought they made a really cute couple, so here he is trying to woo her with some flowers. Needless to say, she’s a little bewildered by the prospect of having an admirer. X3 (Veemon’s a little nervous about the whole thing, too. Or at least the possibility of outright rejection… >.>; )
 
This was probably my first pic I ever did with the hard-edge shading that I do from time to time on my art today. Oddly enough, my shading in this style hasn’t changed much in 7 years. o_o
 
I generally like the shadows here, though there are a few lighting mistakes. I fixed a few of them, but not all.
 
Both of the characters came out fairly on-model. I’m really pleased with Gatomon, cutie that she is. =3
