Sara Hill poses WIP
 
This is Sara Hill, AKA Horridus, from Erik Larsen’s long-running comic, The Savage Dragon. I woke up this morning in the mood to draw her because she just doesn’t get enough love from anyone, seemingly not even her creator. Out of all the Savage Dragon and Freak Force comics I have she never seems to have more than a cameo appearance in a couple of the pages. And that name? Horridus? She looks cute/pretty to me even with all of those spikes. This sketch was a warm up for the actual idea I had but I put more effort into this one and I think I like how it turned out better. I can only hope I get more ideas for her since she was fun to draw and she needs more art done of her. By the way this was probably inspired by a couple of sketches Redadillio did a month or more back but I only just got around to seeing a couple of days ago.
