The Ajshar (on the left) have an occasionally spotted fur coat of brown-orange-sandy color, long tufted ears and short tails. They often live in desertic or semi-desertic regions, where they built huge cities, kingdoms and empires. Their technological level is pretty much on par with the most developed human kingdoms, with the exception of firearms.
The Herimash, also called “Wild Ones” (on the right), have a coat that ranges from brown to yellow, with various kinds of spots, long tails and short ears. They live for the most part in heavily forested areas in small nomadic or semi-nomadic tribes, though some groups have more complex societies. Their technological level is quite low compared to humans and Ajshar, with the most developed groups knowing how to forge iron weapons and tools at best. Many of them have no knowledge of metallurgy whatsoever.
The Herimash are excellent sailors, and thanks to their small boats they managed to reach almost every known land centuries before any other sentient race. They can be found in every continent, though they tend to avoid colder climates.
Both species are very similar in term of lifespan (70-75 years max) and height (ranging from 1.40 to 1.75 meters tall).
Legends say some Herimash tribes living in more isolated areas can reach more than 2 meters in height (and they are supposedly terrifying).
