A tribute piece to my all time favorite childhood hero~

Growing up, I did have a Sega Genesis with the OG Sonic the Hedgehog, but I also had Nintendo consoles that I played. However, around the time my family got a Gamecube, the first few games we had were Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Those game were my true introduction to the series, and also seeing the art in those manuals and online was what inspired me into wanting to become a digital illustrator. From there on, I found and watched the anime religiously, and got into the gba and ds games (which are underrated if you ask me)

Many years later, even after developing more interest in other gaming series, Sonic is the one series I hold on to with my heart. Sonic is the one who got me into gaming, into wanting to become an artist, into holding on to my imagination that allowed me to create my own stories. I’m proud to be a Sonic fan, and I will always be a Sonic fan no matter what.

I love you Sonic the Hedgehog, and Happy 30th Anniversary.

For this tribute, I wanted to show the main different Sonics that we’ve had throughout the years. From the video games to the comics to the animated series and live action movie, all the Sonics have come together to celebrate 30 years of running. I hope you all enjoy this piece!
