Going to be honest, he questionably can be considered a furry character as he comes from a sub-category of the Furry Fandom known as “Feral” despite Furry being more about anthrology than Feral Characters.
Another thing that can back this up is how the games as well lore on its own contain anthropomorphic characters.

He’s a part of the furry fandom in a way that he’s an antropomorphic animal, just like dragons are considered “scalies”, just a specific species within the fandom. When we say a thing is “furry”, we don’t mean it actually has fluff, we mean that it has a relation to the fandom.
