Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but who would be the best staff to contact about my DNP? I wanted it set so people can now upload my art but it seems whoever handled my newest DNP just…merged both of them ^^ which prevents people from uploading my art

Not sure if this is in your control but the Avatar roundness slider does not appear to be working. The rest do seem to work just fine it’s just the avatar one that’s not working.

After a bit of consideration, we’ve decided to launch our very own Mastodon instance (well, Akkoma actually, but same thing really, yay fediverse).

It’s meant to be a place for our users to dip their paws (and other limbs) into the fediverse, seeing how Twitter has basically been steadily killing itself for the last few months, and especially lately (thanks Elon). You’ll need a separate account on the site (we don’t sync Furbooru accounts with it, but we may introduce integrations, and a name-squatting policy), but everyone is welcome to join! If you got a friend who has been wanting to get into the fediverse, they may register there as well!

Here’s a bit of a question-answer section outlining the most important things:

No. You’ll need to register on Foxy Social separately.

Use hashtags. Mastodon users follow hashtags to find content they like, meaning that without hashtags your post is as good as completely gone. They use Twitter-style hashtags, so an average picture of a wolf character would potentially have the following hashtags: #art #sfw #furry #furryart #furryartwork #wolf

Foxy Social is entirely opt-in, you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to, and it doesn’t pull any of your private data from Furbooru.

We will introduce the ability to instantly repost your Foxy Social image upload to Furbooru (provided you enter Furbooru-style tagging). We will also have a bot to post hourly/daily/weekly top scoring images from Furbooru as a convenient Twitter-style feed. My anxiety has been difficult. Plus spiritually I am a little lost. I been making some foolish decisions to give into anger way too quickly.

I don’t think leaving furbooru or derpibooru is entirely necessary. I just think taking time to meditate on scripture will settle my emotions.
