I’ve looked at this, and I guess this might be an area where I’m seeing things as being furry that somehow are not always defined as such. Because when I look at the images the not furry tag was removed from, I agree - I see furry characters in the images. Just to use one example:
Are ‘catgirls’, which fit in the animal humanoid tag, not furry?
I thought they were?

Semi-related, but how furry are the characters in Monster High? I’m only focusing on the ones with visible animal ears, rather than just nonhuman colored skin, since I’m worried they might be considered not related.

I don’t know. I’m not familiar with that series. Just looking at the images here on this site they seem like human with incidental animal ears. But, that’s what Equestria Girls is, so … I don’t know.
If anything, I guess it’s like “what is queer”? And I figure if I was queer enough to have to fight off bullies in school, then I’m “queer enough”. And I’m used to anyone who likes catgirls being bullied for being a furry.
So for me they’re “furry enough”.
But this isn’t my site. I’m just a volunteer here, and am trying to understand where the line is for Rule #3, and do no harm while I figure that out.
So, for me, until I hear otherwise, they’re “furry enough”.
