As he says, ushering the last few crate-bots around him with a hand forth to embark, then walks up unto the ship himself alongside Riggs. At the top, the shark looks back at the hangar & outside sky as the ramp raises, right until it seals closed.

(yeh there might be more later. these aren’t so much main characters as they are just supplements to whatever the fug I got goin’ on. sort of like background characters, but with enough interest in them to give them sheets, as they’ll be reoccurring)

As he says, the exoskeleton undersuit he’d still been wearing the whole time shapeshifts into his usual Lebowski/spacer-getup, with a labcoat seemingly placed over the whole ensemble to at least give a semblance of role identification.
 
“…Saves space, just add electricity. Let’s go find your quarters so you can change, though.” He then half-leads, half-follows along to the ship’s police-station doubled as a small-arms arsenal, and neighboring next to it, her own quarters.

He’s welcomed in. It’s really not interesting in there to be honest but regardless, what little she brought is moved into where she’s supposed to sleep, though given her past, it’s not unlikely the bed in here had been unused or would remain unused.  
oh shizzle- and just like that, she walks out in something a bit less casual- something that doesn’t declare “I’m going to the beach” anyway. Just a simple collared shirt & some pants, prolly some other shiz if that’s common aboard the Eriksson. Jeff is taken off of collar in this room; evidently doggo trusts he won’t chew the place to shreds…or shark to shreds, for that matter.

“After ‘handshaking’ with the ship, all my business is done in here,” As he says, he taps the side of his head, while sitting awkwardly for his size and stature on the bedside. “like a mobile office, with the lab deck working as if I were there remotely, though I could set it to fulfil a list of jobs automatically, if you’re not busy…” ^%.p.%

As he says, he takes the bedsheets & blanket, sprawling them across the floor, just as a blank screen expands to the side.

“Oh absolutely. Jeff-” she says his name sharply, and with authority, although Ramesh may know her voice enough to spot a caring tone, “come ‘ere. Lay,” she’ll say, again all with authority while directing the lizzo doggo.

Sitting down right next to the beast, the shark notices that despite the differences in physiology, he’s likely nearly the same weight and size as the alien-doge. He then pokes Jeff’s side, lookin’ to see the reaction. ^%<-<%

He sniffs at Ramesh with interest- first with some growls, but after Riggs shoots him a look, he is quieter, more docile over all. “He’ll get used to you with time. Then he’ll start treating you like me- lots of lovin’ whether you want it or not,” she smirks, ears perked-up.

Puts labcoat aside, then leeeeeeeeeeeeeaaans back unto doge’s flank, finally resting head too.

Tapping the digits of his fingers, the screen before them changes to several points of realtime view of the outside, going from nearby locations around the Eriksson’s hull of the surrounding hangar, to more distant ones very likely nowhere nearby, to at one point flipping to a closeup of the colonized planet’s parent-orbited star, likely qubit-streamed from some melon-sized drone hundreds of millions of miles away out in space.
 
“Anything u’d like in particular?” Letting Riggs rest her head cradled between his shoulder & Jeff, after the two hyeuj bois let up a bit with the heavy squooshin’.
