Afterworld

Chewy is out of breath. She never ran for so long.  
She crush on the ground.  
Trying to calm down.  
Why wasn’t she eaten?  
Why… was she the one to kill her master?  
She shook with mistery and weariness

she saw her hands begin to glow, as they had before she… changed into a beast.
 
sure enough her hands changed shape again.

“No no no! Please!” She beg.  
Chewy try to find a place.. where she won’t hurt anyone

the transformation didn’t stop, once more forcing her onto all fours, into the shape of a bear. and most of all, she was hungry.

Now completly controled by her hunger, she started using her senses to.. find ANYTHING edible

it was now that her new senses guided her once more, there were a few berries around, as well as some smaller animals.

Chewy the bear start with the berries- but she is a large beast, even as a deer, used for quite massive feeding…  
She start to hunt for the small animals

(bunnies and the like are easy enough to catch, it takes a sizable number but in time the beast is satiated, and chewy returns to her normal Form.)

Chewy with blood on her face, chest and hands wake up.  
Feeling… statified, and horrified.  
But maybe she could live here…  
No. She has to move on!  
She rest up a bit and press forward

another day passes, and no more is heard of the hyenae.

Chewy start to calm down.. seeking a shelter. Maybe for a long term

a cave, how fitting.

Chewy enter the cave… making sure it’s safe.

all was silent, no living thing was in there.

Chewy start to collect branches, to make a makeshift furniture

good thing she remembered the times she had watched the servants that were not for eating assemble seats and the like. soon enough a makeshift chair and even a lightly elevated bed were there.

Chewy is looking for… something that could be used as sheets- maybe big leaves or
 
Gulp* dead animals

the forest didn’t lend itself to big leaves, she’d have to skin some wildlife, that would also offer her some meat to dry out for later, but she’d need a knife for it, maybe by sharpening one of the stones around.

Chewy does just that, even if horrified of the prospect of intentily killing.

hardly a new concept though, after all she’d been on call to eat meat before, even hunt for herself so as to bulk up properly.

She sharpen some rocks, try to stick one on a stick to make a makeshift spear.  
She was hungry again. Used for constant feedings

she knew that was not a good way to continue, her life as a marriage feast had been ended, on her own instincts.

As she try to hunt, Chewy think.. she need… guidance.  
Someone else to tell her what to do.  
To teach her.  
Has she heard rumors about a druid community?

maybe the answer was much simpler, Marius could help her, he was the son of the heavenly king and the hellish queen, the patron of the wilderness, the hunter and the prey, and it was his gift, both to the hyenae and to the deer, that had torn up her life.
