I’m gonna guess in advance whatever I ask isn’t possible, but just to be sure…
I was messaged off-site by an artist who asked ME to remove their art. I told them about the whole DNP thing and how I couldn’t do it myself. They told me I should’ve asked their permission first, but I couldn’t even do so because I couldn’t access their profile (Tumblr blog which is either deleted or renamed after the reblog I discovered the art through). They MAY come to Furbooru to get their art removed, but this is not a promise.
I got so annoyed with this situation which I probably should’ve seen coming that I decided to write a step-by-step instruction on how to verify yourself as an artist and request a DNP entry on Furbooru.
In case they do NOT actually come here to request a DNP entry, I wonder if I could instead screenshot my convo with them and send it to a staff member? Or does Philomena simply not work like this?
