You speak like making a new booru is as easy as just flipping a lightswitch. We have to discuss internal policy, tagging, guidelines, rules - even if a lot of it can be brought over from Furbooru. Not to mention, we also need to find volunteers willing to moderate a site like that. And I haven't even said anything about the technical infrastructure side of things.
Allowing AI images here in the meantime will only create MORE work for us (instead of simply cleanly having a dedicated place for AI, we now would have to migrate posts, and delete them from here, thus forcing users to lose their upvotes and faves of these images).
